Use Ithmid Kohl Before Sleeping
Hadith 52
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ هُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْإِثْمِدِ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ، فَإِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ، وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "At the time of sleeping, it is incumbent upon you to apply ithmid kohl, for it brightens the eyesight and grows (the eyelashes’) hair."
