باب ما جاء فى خضاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلمChapter: What has been reported concerning the dyeing (of hair) of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
The Prophet’s (peace be upon him) Dyed Hair
Hadith 48
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ شَعْرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَخْضُوبًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I saw the blessed hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) which had been dyed.
Hadith 49
قَالَ حَمَّادٌ: وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ شَعْرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ مَخْضُوبًا»
Hammad says that Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqil told us that I saw the dyed blessed hair of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, with Sayyiduna Anas, may Allah be pleased with him.
