باب ما جاء فى شيب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلمChapter: What has been reported concerning the gray hair of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
He (peace be upon him) Had About Twenty White Hairs
Hadith 40
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ الْكِنْدِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا كَانَ شَيْبُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوًا مِنْ عِشْرِينَ شَعْرَةً بَيْضَاءَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says: The white hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in old age were approximately twenty blessed hairs.
