باب ما جاء فى ترجل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلمChapter: What has been reported concerning the combing of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
He (peace be upon him) Liked to Start from the Right Side
Hadith 34
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنِ أَشْعَثِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: «إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيُحِبُّ التَّيَمُّنَ فِي طُهُورِهِ إِذَا تَطَهَّرَ، وَفِي تَرَجُّلِهِ إِذَا تَرَجَّلَ، وَفِي انْتِعَالِهِ إِذَا انْتَعَلَ»
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) liked to start from the right side, in his ablution when he performed ablution, and when combing his hair, and when putting on his shoes.
