حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: كَيْفَ كَانَ نَعْلُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: «لَهُمَا قِبَالَانِ»
Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I asked Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), "How were the blessed sandals of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He replied: "Each sandal of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had two straps."
