A Hadith About Applying Dye
Hadith 46
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ: سُئِلَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: هَلْ خَضَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ» قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: " وَرَوَى أَبُو عَوَانَةَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ، فَقَالَ: عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ "
It is narrated from Uthman bin Mawhib, he says that it was asked from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) use dye? He said: Yes! Abu Isa (Imam Tirmidhi, may Allah have mercy on him) said: Abu Awanah has narrated this hadith with the chain of «عثمان بن عبداللہ بن موہب عن ام سلمہ».
