Sayyiduna Abu Rimthah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I, along with my son, presented myself in the noble service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked: "Is this your son?" I replied: Yes! And I bear witness to it. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "You will not be held accountable for your son's faults, nor will your son be held accountable for your faults." Abu Rimthah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: At that time, I saw a few blessed hairs of the Prophet (peace be upon him) inclined towards red. Abu Isa (Imam Tirmidhi, may Allah have mercy on him) said: In this chapter, this narration is the best and clearest, because in authentic ahadith it is mentioned that whiteness had not yet appeared in the hair of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and Abu Rimthah's name is Rifaa'ah bin Yathrabi al-Taymi.
