Hadith 411

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has seen me in a dream has truly seen me, for Satan cannot take my form or appearance." The narrator, Kulayb, says: I related this hadith to Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and said that I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream. Then I mentioned Sayyiduna Hasan ibn Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both), saying that I found the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to resemble him. So Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) affirmed that Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) indeed resembled the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
