حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ أَخْضَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " كُنْتُ مُسْنِدَةً النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى صَدْرِي - أَوْ قَالَتْ: إِلَى حِجْرِي - فَدَعَا بِطَسْتٍ لِيَبُولَ فِيهِ، ثُمَّ بِالَ، فَمَاتَ "
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I was reclining with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) against my chest, or she said, in my lap, when he asked for a vessel to urinate in. Then he urinated in it, and then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away.
