حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ وَاسْمُهُ عَبْدُ بْنُ عَبْدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: «لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاحِشًا وَلَا مُتَفَحِّشًا وَلَا صَخَّابًا فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ، وَلَا يَجْزِىءُ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ، وَلَكِنْ يَعْفُو وَيَصْفَحُ»
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), she says that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was neither naturally foul-mouthed nor did he speak foul words deliberately, nor did he raise his voice in the markets, nor did he repay evil with evil, but he would forgive and turn away.
