Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila narrates that no one except Sayyida Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) informed me that she saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) performing the Duha prayer. She (Sayyida Umm Hani, may Allah be pleased with her) told me that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to her house on the day of the conquest of Makkah, performed ghusl (ritual bath), and then prayed eight rak‘ahs. She says: I never saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) perform such a light prayer as he did on that day, though he performed the bowing and prostration completely.
