Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I have memorized eight rak‘ahs from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): two rak‘ahs before Zuhr, two after it, two rak‘ahs after Maghrib, and two after ‘Isha. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: (Mother of the Believers, Lady) Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) has mentioned to me the two rak‘ahs of Fajr, but I do not consider them from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
