Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) told me that when dawn would break and the muezzin would call the adhan, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform two rak'ahs of prayer. The narrator Ayyub says: I think she also said «حفيفتين», meaning he would perform two light rak'ahs.
