The Prophet repeated one verse all night
Hadith 275
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، عَنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِآيَةٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ لَيْلَةً»
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), she says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited only one verse of the Noble Qur'an in prayer throughout the night.
