It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer until his blessed feet became swollen. It was said to him, “Do you endure so much hardship even though all your past and future mistakes have been forgiven for you (you are free from sins)?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: “Should I not be a grateful servant?”
