Another dua before sleeping
Hadith 258
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ قَالَ: «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَكَفَانَا وَآوَانَا، فَكَمْ مِمَّنْ لَا كَافِيَ لَهُ وَلَا مُؤْوِي»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would lie down on his bed, he would certainly recite this supplication: "All praise is due to Allah who has fed us and given us drink, and has sufficed us and given us shelter. How many are there who have neither one to suffice them nor one to give them shelter."
