The Prophet’s smile was excellent
Hadith 228
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنِ الْمَعْرُورِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ أَوَّلَ رَجُلٍ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ وَآخَرَ رَجُلٍ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ النَّارِ، يُؤْتَى بِالرَّجُلِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُقَالُ: اعْرِضُوا عَلَيْهِ صِغَارَ ذُنُوبِهِ وَيُخَبَّأُ عَنْهُ كِبَارُهَا، فَيُقَالُ لَهُ: عَمِلْتَ يَوْمَ كَذَا وَكَذَا كَذَا، وَهُوَ مُقِرٌّ لَا يُنْكِرُ، وَهُوَ مُشْفِقٌ مِنْ كِبَارِهَا فَيُقَالُ: أَعْطُوهُ مَكَانَ كُلِّ سَيِّئَةٍ عَمِلَهَا حَسَنَةً، فَيَقُولُ: إِنَّ لِي ذُنُوبًا مَا أَرَاهَا هَهُنَا " قَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ: فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَحِكَ حَتَّى بَدَتْ نَوَاجِذُهُ
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (Ghifari) رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "I know well the person who will enter Paradise first, and I also know the person who will be the last to be taken out of Hell. On the Day of Resurrection, a man will be presented before Allah, and it will be said: 'Present to him his minor sins, and keep his major sins hidden from him.' Then it will be said: 'Did you do such and such deeds on such and such a day?' He will admit to those deeds and will not deny them, and he will be fearful of his major sins. Then it will be said: 'For every sin that he committed, give him a good deed in exchange.' (When he sees this situation) he will say: 'I have some other sins as well that I do not see here.'" Sayyiduna Abu Dharr رضي الله عنه says: I saw that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم laughed so much that his blessed front teeth became visible.
