باب ما جاء فى صفة شرب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلمChapter: What has been reported concerning the manner of drinking of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
Drinking water in two sips is allowed
Hadith 210
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ رِشْدِينِ بْنِ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا شَرِبَ تَنَفَّسَ مَرَّتَيْنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that whenever the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) drank (something), he would breathe twice.
