Eating cucumber with dates
Hadith 196
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْفَزَارِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ الْقِثَّاءَ بِالرُّطَبِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far, may Allah be pleased with him, who says that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to eat cucumber with fresh dates.
