It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) liked the leftover (food) very much. Imam Tirmidhi’s teacher, Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman, says that by “leftover” is meant that which remains after eating.
