It is narrated from Masruq, he says: I presented myself in the service of Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). She had food brought for me and said: Eat to your fill. Then, when I do not wish to stop myself from crying, I begin to weep. I asked: What is the reason for this? She replied: I remember that condition and time that passed over me when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) departed from this world. By Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never ate his fill of bread and meat twice in one day.
