باب ما جاء فى صفة سيف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلمChapter: What has been reported concerning the description of the sword of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
The Prophet’s sword hilt was silver
Hadith 105
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ قَالَ: «كَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ»
It is narrated from Saeed bin Abi Al-Hasan Al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him), he says that the hilt of the sword of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was made of silver.
