(426) بَابُ فَضْلِ الْعُمْرَةِ وَتَكْفِيرِ الذُّنُوبِ الَّتِي يَرْتَكِبُهَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بَيْنَ الْعُمْرَتَيْنِ
Virtue of Umrah and expiation of sins committed between two Umrahs.
Hadith 3072
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْعُمْرَةُ إِلَى الْعُمْرَةِ كَفَّارَةٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ، وَالْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُورُ لَيْسَ لَهُ جَزَاءٌ ، إِلا الْجَنَّةُ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Umrah is an expiation for all the sins committed between the present Umrah and the previous Umrah, and the only reward for an accepted Hajj is Paradise."
Hadith 3073
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِيهِ سُمَيٌّ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا حَوْثَرَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْعُمْرَةُ إِلَى الْعُمْرَةِ تُكَفِّرُ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا ، وَالْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُورُ لَيْسَ لَهُ جَزَاءٌ ، إِلا الْجَنَّةُ " ، غَيْرَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الْجَبَّارِ قَالَ : يَبْلُغُ بِهِ
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One ‘Umrah is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the next ‘Umrah, and the reward for an accepted Hajj is nothing but Paradise."
