Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I greatly desired to enter the Sacred House (the Ka'bah) and perform prayer inside it. So, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took my hand and made me enter the Hatim and said: "O Aisha, when your people constructed the Sacred House, their funds fell short, so they left the Hatim outside the construction of the House. Therefore, when you wish to pray inside the Sacred House, perform your prayer in the Hatim, for it is also a part of the House."
By mentioning a report whose wording is general but its intent is specific, I am afraid that some people may hear this report which I mentioned, whose wording is general but its intent is specific, and imagine that the entire Hijr is from the Ka‘bah, not just a part of it.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If your people had not recently come out of disbelief, I would have included Hatim within the Sacred House of Allah." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I have mentioned a narration similar to these words in Kitab al-Kabir, whose wording is general but the intended meaning is specific.
