(388) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَةِ
The place inside the Kaaba where the Prophet prayed.
Hadith 3009
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزْعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْبَلَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ ، وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ رَدِيفُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَمَعَهُ بِلالٌ ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ الْبَيْتَ أَرْسَلَ ابْنُ طَلْحَةَ بِمِفْتَاحِ الْبَيْتِ ، فَفَتَحَهُ فَدَخَلَ الرَّسُولُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ ، وَبِلالٌ ، فَمَكَثُوا فِيهِ طَوِيلا وَأَغْلَقُوا عَلَيْهِمُ الْبَابَ ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَابْتَدَرُوا الْبَيْتَ ، فَسَبَقَهُمُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ، وَآخَرُ مَعَهُ ، فَسَأَلَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ، بِلالا : " أَيْنَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَأَرَاهُ أَيْنَ صَلَّى ، وَلَمْ يَسْأَلْهُ كَمْ صَلَّى "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that on the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived riding on a camel, and Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). With him were Sayyiduna Bilal and Uthman bin Talhah (may Allah be pleased with them both). When he reached the Sacred House (Baytullah), Sayyiduna Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) sent for the key of the Sacred House and opened its door. Thus, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Bilal, Usama, and Uthman bin Talhah (may Allah be pleased with them) entered inside and stayed there for a long time. And they had closed the door from inside. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out, and the noble Companions quickly came towards the Sacred House. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar and another Companion (may Allah be pleased with them) reached there before all others. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) asked Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) where the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had prayed. He showed Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) the place where he had prayed. But Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) did not ask how many rak‘ahs he had prayed.
Hadith 3010
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ : عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ ، وَهُوَ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ لأُسَامَةَ حَتَّى أَنَاخَ بِفِنَاءِ الْكَعْبَةِ ، ثُمَّ دَعَا عُثْمَانَ بْنَ طَلْحَةَ بِالْمِفْتَاحِ ، فَذَهَبَ إِلَى أُمِّهِ ، فَأَبَتْ أَنْ تُعْطِيَهُ ، فَقَالَ : لَتُعْطِينِيهِ أَوْ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ السَّيْفَ مِنْ صُلْبِي ، فَدَفَعَتْ إِلَيْهِ فَفَتَحَ الْبَابَ ، فَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَدَخَلَ مَعَهُ عُثْمَانُ ، وَبِلالٌ ، وَأُسَامَةُ ، فَأَجَافُوا الْبَابَ مَلِيًّا ، قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : وَكُنْتُ رَجُلا شَابًّا قَوِيًّا فَبَدَرَ النَّاسُ فَبَدَرْتُهُمْ ، فَوَجَدْتُ بِلالا قَائِمًا عَلَى الْبَابِ ، قَالَ : يَا بِلالُ ، أَيْنَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : " بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ الْمُقَدَّمَيْنِ " ، وَنَسِيتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُ كَمْ صَلَّى ، هَذَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Masjid al-Haram on the day of the conquest of Makkah riding on the camel of Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both). He made his camel sit in the courtyard of the noble Ka'bah, then ordered Uthman bin Talhah to bring the key. So he went to his mother to get the key, but his mother refused to give it. He said, "You must give me the key, otherwise the sword will pass through my back (I will be killed)." So she gave him the key. Then he opened the door of the noble House of Allah, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered inside. Then he kept the door closed from inside for a while. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I was a strong young man. People hurried towards the noble House of Allah, so I reached there before all of them. I found Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) standing at the door of the House of Allah. I asked, "O Bilal, where did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pray?" He replied, "Between the two front pillars." But I forgot to ask him how many units of prayer he performed. This narration is from Muhammad bin Amr.
