(361) بَابُ بَدْءِ رَمْيِ النَّبِيِّ الْجِمَارَ، وَالْعِلَّةِ الَّتِي رَمَاهَا بَدْءًا قَبْلَ عَوْدٍ.
When the Prophet began stoning the Jamrat and the reason for starting before returning.
Hadith 2967
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّرَامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " جَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَذَهَبَ بِهِ لِيُرِيَهُ الْمَنَاسِكَ ، فَانْفَرَجَ لَهُ ثَبِيرٌ ، فَدَخَلَ مِنًى فَأَرَاهُ الْجِمَارَ ، ثُمَّ أَرَاهُ عَرَفَاتٍ ، فَتَتَبَّعَ الشَّيْطَانُ لِنَبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَ الْجَمْرَةِ ، فَرَمَا بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ حَتَّى سَاخَ ، ثُمَّ تَبِعَ لَهُ فِي الْجَمْرَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ ، فَرَمَاهُ بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ حَتَّى سَاخَ ، ثُمَّ تَبِعَ لَهُ فِي جَمْرَةِ الْعَقَبَةِ ، فَرَمَاهُ بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ حَتَّى سَاخَ ، فَذَهَبَ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then took him to show him the rites of Hajj. Thus, a path was opened for him from the mountain of Thabeer, so he entered Mina. Jibreel (peace be upon him) showed him the Jamaraat. Then he showed him Arafat. Then Satan came behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at the Jamaraat. So he threw seven pebbles at him until he sank into the earth. Then he came to the second Jamrah, and Satan came behind him, so he again threw seven pebbles at him, by which he sank into the earth. Then he came behind him at Jamrah Aqabah, so he threw seven pebbles at him until he sank into the earth, then he fled.
