(320) بَابُ الرُّخْصَةِ فِي اقْتِطَاعِ لُحُومِ الْهَدْيِ بِإِذْنِ صَاحِبِهَا
Permission to distribute the meat of the Hajj offering with the owner's consent.
Hadith 2917
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَوْرٌ ، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ لُحَيٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَعْظَمُ الأَيَّامِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ ، ثُمَّ يَوْمُ الْقَرِّ " ، وَقُدِّمَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَدَنَاتٌ خَمْسٌ أَوْ سِتٌّ ، فَطَفِقْنَ يَزْدَلِفْنَ أَيَّتُهُنَّ يَبْدَأُ بِهَا ، فَلَمَّا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوبُهَا ، قَالَ : كَلِمَةً خَفِيفَةً لَمْ أَفْهَمْهَا ، فَسَأَلْتُ بَعْضَ مَنْ يَلِيهِ ، فَقَالَ : " مَنْ شَاءَ اقْتَطَعَ "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Qurt (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The greatest day in the sight of Allah is the first and second day of sacrifice (Eid al-Adha)." Five or six sacrificial camels were brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and they began to come close to you so that you could slaughter them first. Then, when after being slaughtered, their sides fell to the ground (and they became still), you said something softly which I could not understand, so I asked a person near you (what you had said), and he said that you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said: "Whoever wants to take meat may cut from it."
