Hadith Q2900
Even if those sharing are from different tribes and not from the same family. With the explanation that one-seventh share of a camel or a cow in sacrifice is equal to one goat.

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we, in the company of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), participated in Hajj and Umrah with seven people sharing one camel. In the narration of Abdul Rahman, there is an addition that on that day we slaughtered seventy camels. Then, in both narrations, it is mentioned that a person asked Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), "Can seven people share a cow just as they do a camel?" He replied that a cow is also included among the sacrificial animals (badnah). Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) related this incident regarding the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. In the narration of Abdul Rahman, it is mentioned that on that day we slaughtered one camel on behalf of seven people. The wording in the narration of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) is that we, seven people, shared one camel and on that day we slaughtered seventy camels. The rest of the narration is the same.
