(289) بَابُ وَقْتِ رَمْيِ الْجِمَارِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ
Chapter: Time for stoning the pillars on the Day of Sacrifice
Hadith 2876
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بَكْرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْمِي يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ضُحًى " ، وَأَخْبَرَ مَعْمَرٌ وَاحِدًا يَعْنِي جَمْرَةً وَاحِدَةً ، وَقَالا : وَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ ، فَعِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to throw pebbles at the Jamrah on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah at the time of forenoon. Janab Mu’ammar narrates that it was only at one Jamrah. In the narration of both narrators, it is mentioned that on the remaining days, he used to throw pebbles after the sun had declined.
