Hadith 2873
Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) departed from Muzdalifah, and when he reached the middle of the Valley of Gathering, he said: "O people, it is obligatory upon you to throw small pebbles," and he was indicating with his hand, showing how a person holds a pebble between two fingers and throws it.
Hadith 2874
Sayyiduna Harmalah bin Amr Aslami رضي الله عنه narrates that I performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم. When we stood at Arafat, I saw the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم placing one finger over another finger. So I said to my uncle, "O uncle, what is he saying?" He replied, "He is saying: 'Throw pebbles at the Jamaraat (that are) like the size of chickpeas.'" Imam Abu Bakr رحمه الله says that the name of Sayyiduna Harmalah bin Amr رضي الله عنه's uncle has been narrated by Janab Wahib from Sinan bin Sanatah.
Hadith 2875
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pelted the Jamrah with pebbles the size of chickpeas.
