(287) بَابُ إِبَاحَةِ تَقْدِيمِ الثَّقَلِ مِنْ جَمْعٍ إِلَى مِنًى بِاللَّيْلِ
Chapter: Permissibility of sending heavy loads from Jam‘ to Mina at night
Hadith 2872
ثنا ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، ثنا عِيسَى ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ : " كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ قَدَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الثَّقَلِ " ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، بِمِثْلِهِ سَوَاءً ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : أَخْبَارُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ قَدَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ إِلَى مِنًى بِاللَّيْلِ ، دَالَّةٌ عَلَى أَنَّ الْمَأْمُورَ بِالْتِقَاطِ الْحَصَى غَدَاةَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ هُوَ الْفَضْلُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ، لا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، وَأَخْبَارُ الْفَضْلِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ رَدِيفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ إِلَى مِنًى بِاللَّيْلِ دَالَّةٌ عَلَى أَنَّ خَبَرَ مُشَاسٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ قَدَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهْمٌ ، لأَنَّ الْمُقَدَّمَ مَعَ الضَّعَفَةِ مِنْ جَمْعٍ إِلَى مِنًى هُوَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ، لا الْفَضْلُ
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that I was among those people whom the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sent to Mina with the luggage. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that these narrations of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), that I was with those whom the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sent to Mina on the night of Muzdalifah, are evidence that on the morning of Muzdalifah, the Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) to collect pebbles, not Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both). And these narrations of Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him), that he was riding behind the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) while going from Muzdalifah to Mina, are evidence that the narration of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) from Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) through the chain of Ata from Mishas, that Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was with those people whom the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sent ahead, is a mistake. Because the one who went from Muzdalifah to Mina with the weak people was Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), not Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him).
