(277) بَابُ الدَّفْعِ مِنَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ، وَمُخَالَفَةِ أَهْلِ الشِّرْكِ وَالْأَوْثَانِ فِي دَفْعِهِمْ مِنْهُ.

Hadith 2859
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ لا يُفِيضُونَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ حَتَّى تَشْرُقَ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى ثَبِيرٍ ، فَخَالَفَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَفَاضَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ "
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the polytheists would not return from Muzdalifah until the sun had shone on the peak of the Thabir mountain. So, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), opposing them, departed before the sun had risen.
