Hadith Q2849
And the statement that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) performed the traveler’s prayer at Muzdalifah, not the resident’s prayer.
Hadith 2849
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) combined and performed the Maghrib and Isha prayers at Muzdalifah, and did not perform any prayer between them. He (peace and blessings be upon him) performed three rak'ahs for Maghrib and two rak'ahs for Isha. And Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) continued to perform the prayer in this manner (shortened and combined) at Muzdalifah throughout his life.
