Hadith 2839
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty expresses pride and boasts before the angels because of the pilgrims of Arafat. Allah Almighty says to them: 'Look at My servants, how dusty and disheveled they have come to My court.'"

أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، ثنا مَرْزُوقُ ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : أَنَا أَبْرَأُ مِنْ عُهْدَةِ مَرْزُوقٍ
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Day of Arafat comes, Allah Almighty descends to the sky of the world and boasts to the angels because of the pilgrims of Arafat. Allah Almighty says: 'Look at My servants, how dusty and disheveled they have come into My presence, coming from every distant place. I make you witnesses that I have forgiven them.' The angels say, 'O Lord, among them is so-and-so who is arrogant, and among them is so-and-so who is sinful.' Allah Almighty will say, 'I have forgiven all of them.' The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'On the Day of Arafah, the number of people freed from Hell is greater than on any other day.' Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I am free from responsibility for (the narrator) Marzooq."
