(246) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْبَيَانِ أَنَّ هَذِهِ الصَّلَوَاتِ الَّتِي قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ صَلَّى مَعَنَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ " كَانَتِ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ لَا غَيْرَهَا.
Chapter: Explanation that the prayer mentioned by the Prophet—"whoever prayed with us this prayer"—was Fajr only
Hadith 2821
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ مُضَرِّسٍ ، يَقُولُ : كُنْتُ أَوَّلَ الْحَاجِّ ، فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ ، فَخَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلاةِ حِينَ بَرَقَ الْفَجْرُ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي أَتَيْتُكَ مِنْ جَبَلِ طَيِّئٍ ، وَقَدْ أَكْلَلْتُ رَاحِلَتِي وَأَنْصَبْتُ نَفْسِي ، فَمَا تَرَكْتُ مِنْ حَبَلٍ إِلا وَقَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ : " مَنْ شَهِدَ الصَّلاةَ مَعَنَا ، ثُمَّ وَقَفَ مَعَنَا حَتَّى نُفِيضَ ، وَقَدْ وَقَفَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ بِعَرَفَاتٍ لَيْلا أَوْ نَهَارًا ، فَقَدْ قَضَى تَفَثَهُ ، وَتَمَّ حَجُّهُ " ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ فِي عَقِبِهِ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ ، أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ حِينَ بَرِقَ الْفَجْرُ ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : دَاوُدُ هَذَا هُوَ ابْنُ يَزِيدَ الأَوْدِيُّ
Sayyiduna Urwah bin Mudarris (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I was performing Hajj for the first time when I came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) while he was present at Muzdalifah. When dawn broke, you went out for the morning prayer. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have come to you from the mountains of the Tayy tribe. I have exhausted my mount and I myself am completely worn out with fatigue. I have not left any hill except that I stayed on it (thinking perhaps this is Arafat)." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever has performed this prayer with us and then stayed with us until we depart from here, and before that he has stayed at Arafat by day or by night, then he has completed his purification and his Hajj is complete." In the narration of Janab Dawood, it is mentioned that when dawn broke, he went out for the prayer. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that by this Dawood, Dawood bin Yazid Awdi is meant.
