(238) بَابُ الْجَمْعِ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِعَرَفَةَ، وَالْأَذَانِ وَالْإِقَامَةِ لَهُمَا.
Chapter: Combining Zuhr and ‘Asr at ‘Arafah with one adhan and two iqamahs
Hadith 2811
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلاتَيْنِ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِعَرَفَاتٍ بِأَذَانٍ وَإِقَامَتَيْنِ ، وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِجَمْعٍ بِأَذَانٍ وَإِقَامَتَيْنِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) combined the Zuhr and Asr prayers at the plain of Arafat with one adhan and two iqamahs. And at Muzdalifah, he also performed the Maghrib and Isha prayers with one adhan and two iqamahs.
