(227) بَابُ ذِكْرِ عَدَدِ الصَّلَوَاتِ الَّتِي يُصَلِّي الْإِمَامُ وَالنَّاسُ بِمِنًى قَبْلَ الْغُدُوِّ إِلَى عَرَفَةَ.
Chapter: Number of prayers the imam and people perform at Mina before leaving for ‘Arafah
Hadith 2798
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ ، يَقُولُ : " مِنْ سُنَّةِ الْحَجِّ ، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً : مِنْ سُنَّةِ الإِمَامِ : أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الظُّهْرَ ، وَالْعَصْرَ ، وَالْغُرُوبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ ، وَالصُّبْحَ بِمِنًى "
Sayyiduna Ibn Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Sunnah method of Hajj—and on one occasion he said that the Sunnah method for the Imam—is that he should perform the Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha, and Fajr prayers in Mina.
Hadith 2799
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ الْمُهَلَّبِ الْبَجَلِيُّ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ بِمِنًى "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) performed five prayers in Mina.
