(217) بَابُ إِحْلَالِ الْمُعْتَمِرِ عِنْدَ الْفَرَاغِ مِنَ السَّعْيِ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ
Chapter: Ending the state of ihram after completing sa‘i between Safa and Marwa for ‘Umrah
Hadith 2784
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَنَّ مَالِكًا ، أَخْبَرَهُ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَهْلَلْنَا بِالْعُمْرَةِ ، فَطَافَ الَّذِينَ أَهَلُّوا بِالْعُمْرَةِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ، ثُمَّ حَلُّوا "
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that we set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) (on the journey of Hajj), and we had assumed Ihram only for Umrah. Therefore, those who had assumed Ihram only for Umrah performed the Tawaf of the Sacred House (Ka'bah) and, after performing Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, became halal (came out of the state of Ihram).
Hadith 2785
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْقُرَشِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ يَعْنِي الثَّقَفِيَّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبٌ وَهُوَ الْمُعَلِّمُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَطَاءٌ : حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ أَصْحَابَهُ أَنْ يَجْعَلُوهَا عُمْرَةً ، ثُمَّ يَطُوفُونَ ، ثُمَّ يُقَصِّرُوا أَوْ يَحْلِقُوا ، إِلا مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ "
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) instructed his companions to convert their Hajj into Umrah, then perform Tawaf of the Sacred House (Ka'bah), cut or shave their hair (and become halal), except for those who had sacrificial animals with them (they should perform Qiran Hajj).
