(202) بَابُ الْمَشْيِ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ خَلَا السَّعْيَ فِي بَطْنِ الْوَادِي فَقَطْ
Chapter: Walking between Safa and Marwa except for running in the valley
Hadith 2759
Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that in the narration of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), when the feet of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) reached the lower part of the valley, he began to run, and when he started to ascend, he resumed walking at a normal pace.
