Hadith 2753
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ ، نا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ : إِنَّكَ لَتُزَاحِمُ عَلَى هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ ، قَالَ: إِنْ أَفْعَلْ ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ: " مَسْحُهُمَا يَحُطُّ الْخَطَايَا " . وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ لَمْ يَرْفَعْ قَدَمًا وَلَمْ يَضَعْ ، إِلا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ حَسَنَةً ، وَيَحُطُّ عَنْهُ خَطِيئَةً ، وَكَتَبَ لَهُ دَرَجَةً " . وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ أَحْصَى أُسْبُوعًا كَانَ كَعِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ " ، قَالَ يُوسُفُ فِي حَدِيثهِ: وَرُفِعَتْ لَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةٌ .
It is narrated from Ubaid bin Umair that he said to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them): "You push through people and enter the crowd to touch the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner. (What is the reason for making such a strong effort?)" He replied, "If I do this, (the reason is that) I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Sins are forgiven by touching these two.' And I heard him say: 'For every step a person takes while performing Tawaf of the Sacred House, Allah writes a good deed for him, erases a sin, and raises him one degree.' And I heard him say: 'Whoever completes seven circuits, it is as if he has freed a slave in reward.' In the narration of Yusuf, it is mentioned: 'And one degree is raised for him.'"
وَذِكْرِ كَتْبِهِ حَسَنَةٍ، وَرَفْعِ دَرَجَةٍ، وَحَطِّ خَطِيئَةٍ عَنِ الطَّائِفِ بِكُلِّ قَدَمٍ يَرْفَعُهَا، أَوْ يَضَعُهَا فِي طَوَافِهِ، وَإِعْطَاءِ الطَّائِفِ بِإِحْصَاءِ أُسْبُوعٍ مِنَ الطَّوَافِ أَجْرَ مُعْتِقٍ رَقَبَةً إِذِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَعَلَ مُحْصِيَ الْأُسْبُوعِ الْوَاحِدِ مِنَ الطَّوَافِ كَعِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ
And the mention of recording a good deed, raising a rank, and removing a sin from the one performing tawaf with every step he lifts or sets down during his circumambulation, and granting the one performing tawaf, for counting a week of tawaf, the reward of freeing a slave, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, made the one who completes a single week of tawaf like one who frees a slave.
Hadith 2753
