(185) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا أَرَادَ بِذِكْرِهِ الرُّكْنَ فِي هَذَا الْخَبَرِ نَفْسَ الْحَجَرِ الْأَسْوَدِ لَا غَيْرَ
Chapter: Evidence that the Prophet meant the Black Stone specifically when mentioning the Corner
Hadith 2736
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الأَشْيَبُ ، حَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ يَزِيدَ أَبُو يَزِيدَ الأَحْوَلُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ لِهَذَا الْحَجَرِ لِسَانًا ، وَشَفَتَيْنِ يَشْهَدُ لِمَنِ اسْتَلَمَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِحَقٍّ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, this Black Stone will have a tongue and two lips; whoever has touched it with truth, it will testify in his favor on the Day of Resurrection."
