(176) بَابُ اسْتِلَامِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ اللَّذَيْنِ يَلِيَانِ الْحَجَرَ، رُكْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَالَّذِي يَلِيهِ وَهُمَا الرُّكْنَانِ الْيَمَانِيَانِ
Chapter: Touching the two corners adjacent to the Black Stone—the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner
Hadith 2725
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَلَمَ مِنْ أَرْكَانِ الْبَيْتِ ، إِلا الرُّكْنَ الأَسْوَدَ ، وَالَّذِي يَلِيهِ مِنْ نَحْوَ دَارِ الْجُمَحِيِّينَ "
Hazrat Salim bin Abdullah narrates from his esteemed father Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), who says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform istilam (touching or kissing) of only the Hajar Aswad and the corner close to it on the side of Dar al-Jumhain (Rukn Yamani) among the corners of the Ka'bah.
