Hadith 2699
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ , قَالَ لَهُ : سَلْ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ يُهِلُّ بِالْحَجِّ فَسَأَلْتُهُ ، فَقَالَ : " قَدْ حَجَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ أَنَّهُ أَوَّلُ شَيْءٍ بَدَأَ بِهِ حِينَ قَدِمَ مَكَّةَ أَنَّهُ تَوَضَّأَ ، ثُمَّ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ " ، فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا فِيهِ بَعْضُ الطَّوْلِ
It is narrated from Muhammad bin Abdur Rahman that an Iraqi man said to him, "Ask Urwah bin Zubair what a person in the state of Ihram for Hajj should do." So I asked him this question. He replied, "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) performed Hajj. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) informed me that when he reached Makkah Mukarramah, the first thing he did was perform ablution, then circumambulated the House of Allah, then narrated a lengthy hadith."
