(94) بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الْإِهْلَالِ بِمَا يُحْرِمُ بِهِ الْمُهِلُّ مِنْ حَجِّ أَوْ عَمْرَةِ أَوْ هُمَا
94 Subchapter: Recommending entering ihram with whatever one intends, Hajj, Umrah, or both
Hadith 2618
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَبَّيْكَ بِحَجٍّ وَعُمْرَةٍ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the Talbiyah in these words and made the intention: « لَبَّيْكَ بِحَجِّ وَعُمَرَةِ » O Allah, I am present for the performance of Hajj and Umrah.
Hadith 2619
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، وَعَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ ، وَحُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ ، كُلُّهُمْ يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَبَّيْكَ عُمْرَةً وَحَجًّا ، لَبَّيْكَ عُمْرَةً وَحَجًّا " ، مِرَارًا
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: « لَبَّيْكَ عُمْرَةً وَ حَجًّا ، لَبَّيْكَ عُمْرَةً وَ حَجًّا » "O Allah, I am present for both ‘Umrah and Hajj. O Allah, I am present for both ‘Umrah and Hajj." He kept repeating these words.
