(91) بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الْبَيْتُوتَةِ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَالْغُدُوِّ مِنْهَا اسْتِنَانًا بِالنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
91 Subchapter: Recommending spending the night at Dhul-Hulayfah and departing in the morning, following the Prophet
Hadith 2615
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الصَّوَّافُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، وَسَالِمٌ , " أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ إِذَا مَرَّ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ بَاتَ بِهَا حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ " ، وَيُخْبِرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ
Hazrat Nafi' and Salim narrate that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) whenever he passed by Dhu'l-Hulayfah, he would spend the night there until he set out in the morning. They stated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do the same.
