(85) بَابُ تَقْلِيدِ الْغَنَمِ عِنْدَ الْإِحْرَامِ إِذَا سِيقَ الْهَدْيُ، ضِدَّ قَوْلِ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ الْغَنَمَ لَا تُقَلَّدُ
85 Subchapter: Marking sheep for sacrifice when entering ihram, contrary to those who say sheep are not marked
Hadith 2608
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حُمَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي مَنْصُورٌ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي أَفْتِلُ قَلائِدَ الْغَنَمِ لِهَدْيِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ يَمْكُثُ حَلالا " ، هَذَا حَدِيثُ الزَّعْفَرَانِيِّ
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I have seen myself in the state that I used to braid necklaces for the sacrificial goats of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He would send them to Makkah Mukarramah, and he himself would remain in the state of being non-pilgrim in Madinah Munawwarah (i.e., he would not go for Hajj or Umrah). This is the narration of Zafirani.
