Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came (to Mecca) on the fourth or fifth of Dhul-Hijjah. He came to me and he was extremely angry. So I asked, "Who has made you so angry?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Do you not know that I gave people an order and they are hesitating to comply with it?" In the narration of Hakam, it is stated: "They are hesitating. If I had known beforehand what I know now, I would not have brought the sacrificial animal with me (from Madinah), and I would have bought it from Mecca. Then I too would have ended my Ihram (after performing only Umrah), just as these companions have ended theirs."
