(43) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا تَصْحَبُ رِفْقَةً فِيهَا جَرَسٌ؛ إِذِ الْجَرَسُ مِزْمَارُ الشَّيْطَانِ
43 Subchapter: Evidence that angels do not accompany a group with a bell, as it is the devil’s flute
Hadith 2554
حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ بِلالٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي الْعَلاءُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْجَرَسُ مِزْمَارُ الشَّيْطَانِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The bell is the flute of Satan."
