(12) بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ دُعَاءِ الْحَاجِّ، إِذِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدِ اسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمْ وَلِمَنِ اسْتَغْفَرُوا لَهُ
12 Subchapter: Recommending supplication by pilgrims, as the Prophet sought forgiveness for them and those they prayed for
Hadith 2516
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْحُجَّاجِ ، وَلِمَنِ اسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُ الْحَاجُّ "
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: « اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْحَاجِّ وَلِمَنِ اسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُ الْحَاجُّ » "O Allah, forgive the pilgrims and also forgive those for whom the pilgrim seeks forgiveness."
