(163) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ أَمْرَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِوَضْعِ الْقِنْوِ الَّذِي ذَكَرْنَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لِلْمَسَاكِينِ أَمَرُ نَدْبٍ وَإِرْشَادٍ، لَا أَمْرُ فَرِيضَةٍ وَإِيجَابٍ، خَبَرُ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِنْ هَذَا الْبَابِ
163 Subchapter: Prophet’s command to place fruit in the mosque for the poor was guidance, not obligation

Hadith 2470
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "When you have paid the zakat of your wealth, then you have removed the evil and calamity of that wealth from yourself."
Hadith 2471
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you have paid the zakat of your wealth, then you have fulfilled your responsibility and obligation. And whoever gathers unlawful wealth and then gives it in charity, he will receive no reward for that charity, and its sin will remain upon him."
